Russian State University of Physical Education, Sport and Tourism (RSUPES&T, situated in Moscow, a biggest one in Russia and Europe), Chess Chair of RSUPES&T (exists since 1966, among its graduates there are famous GMs E.Bareev, A.Grishuk,A.Kosteniuk, A.Morosevich) invite:
1) Students, undergraduates and post-graduate students to the specialization “Chess” and (soon) “Mind Games” We invite all those who want to improve their knowledge in chess and other mind games (bridge, go, draughts, shogi, poker, cybersport, national mind games etc.) for certificated specialist (bachelor, master) training: to the “Physical Education and Sport” along with the specialization “Chess” and (soon) to the specialization “Mind Games”. There is also the admission of students to the correspondence education department, the magistracy, the post-graduate studies and the institute of the improvement of professional skills. Among main principles of teaching used by the Chess Chair of RSUPES&T which is a leader of the world chess education there is the complex mix of studies, research, sports, social, political and commercial activity. Our main task is to prepare highly educated professionals, experts of all basic fields in the chess activity, who will become absolute leaders in their chess clubs, countries and regions, international federations after graduating from the university and thus they will prepare qualitative breakthrough in the development and popularization of the chess. The costs are appr. EUR 2 000 / year incl. accommodation in the University’s hostel. Also some other possibilities for short-term study are possible.
2) School & preschool children to study chess, also in English, German!
3) Players of all age and skills to take part in the round-robin & open tournaments, „week-end tournaments”
The “NON-STOP” Series’ round-robin tournaments are held in RSUPES&T regularly (these events are the part of the “World Chess Tour”, see more details on www.chess-events.org/ru_RU/wct.html). The participants can live as in the hostel of RSUPES&T (prize from EUR 15 and in the hotel “Izmaylovo” (where such chess festivals as “Aeroflot Open” and others are usually held) – from EUR 20. In the program: GM, IM, rating events.

Since July 2010 the “week-end tournaments” are held: rapid and blitz chess.
We are expect to hold in 2011 some significant chess events like the final part of the “World Chess Tour”, “Moscow RSUPES&T Chess Open 2011”, “RSUPES&T World Cup for Ladies and Gentlemen” etc. – the place is RSUPES&T Universal Sport and Entertainment Center.(www.uszk.ru)
4) Master-classes, seminars for coaches, teacher, arbiters, chess organizers, manager, journalists etc.
The conferences, seminars, master-classes and training courses will be held with the possibility of getting the international and Russian arbiter’s and trainer’s titles.
