The Second Theoretical and practical conference “Pressing problems of the chess and mind games progress in Russia” was held in RSUPESY&T (www.sportedu.ru) on December the 14th. Among the participants there were heads of the mind sports all-Russian and regional federations (chess, draughts, go, sports bridge, shogi, cybersport, “What?Where?When?”, etc.), experts of sports, education, science, specialized in mind and sports logical games. Discussions were devoted to the actual problems of “mind games”, trends and prospects of development.
The main goal of the visit was the training course for the men and women teams of the coutry before the All-African Sport Games which will be held in Mozambique
The training course for the members of the Olimpic and Youth Turkmenistan National Team was held in the RSUPESY&T.
The first FIDE Trainers’ Seminars for the Russian speaking trainers were held from 28 January to 13th February 2011 in Moscow. ts look quite strange but such kind of the FIDE Seminars were never held in Russia. And it is very symbolical that the venue for the first time holding of these seminars had become the Chess Chair of RSUPESY&T in Russia, Russian State University of Physical Education, Sport, Youth and Tourism (RSUPESY&T, situated in Moscow, a biggest one in Russia and Europe). Chess Chair of RSUPESY&T exists since 1966, among its graduates there are hundreds well-known coach as well as famous GMs like E.Bareev, A.Grishuk,A.Kosteniuk, A.Morozevich.
A FIDE Trainers' Seminar are going to be organized from 29th January to 2nd February and from 9th to 13th February 2011 (during the "MOSCOW OPEN 2011" and “AEROFLOT OPEN 2011”) in Moscow, Russia, by Chess Department of the MOSCOW SPORT UNIVERSITY and under the auspices of FIDE and the Russian Chess Federation.
A FIDE Arbiters' Seminar is going to be organized from 14 to 17 February 2011 (during the “AEROFLOT” International Open Tournament) in Moscow, Russia, by the Russian Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.
Team "Dvorets"became second time in row a Moscow clubs winner of Moscow Teams Premier League.
